Account Security

• • Set up health checks for services you own or have permission to monitor
• • Use our API for legitimate integration purposes
• • Share monitoring data within your organization

❌ Prohibited Uses

• • Monitor third-party services without explicit permission
• • Use the service for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities
• • Attempt to overwhelm or disrupt our infrastructure
• • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• • Use the service to send spam or malicious content
• • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Subscription Plans

Billing Terms

• • Free Trial: 14-day free trial available for all new accounts
• • Billing Cycle: Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance
• • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards via Stripe
• • Failed Payments: Service may be suspended for failed payments

Cancellation & Refunds

• • Cancel anytime during your trial period with no charges
• • Paid subscriptions can be cancelled at any time
• • No refunds for partial months of service
• • Service continues until the end of your current billing period

Your Data

• • You retain ownership of all data you provide to the service
• • We process your data solely to provide the monitoring service
• • You can export your data at any time through our API
• • Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days

Data Retention

• • Monitoring data is retained based on your subscription plan (3-30 days)
• • Account information is retained while your account is active
• • Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for service improvement

Service Level

• • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• • Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice

Support

• • Email support available for all paid plans
• • Priority chat support for Plus and Pro plans
• • Dedicated support for Pro plan subscribers
• • Community documentation and resources available online

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, hlthz shall not be liable for:

• • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• • Service interruptions or data loss
• • Any amount exceeding the fees paid in the 12 months prior to the claim

User Responsibilities

• • You are responsible for implementing appropriate backup and redundancy measures
• • hlthz monitoring should supplement, not replace, your own monitoring systems
• • Critical systems should have multiple monitoring solutions

Our Rights

hlthz and all related intellectual property rights are owned by us, including:

• • Software, algorithms, and source code
• • Trademarks, logos, and branding
• • Documentation and user interfaces
• • Aggregated and anonymized usage data

Your Rights

• • Limited license to use the service during your subscription
• • Right to access and export your monitoring data
• • Permission to use our API according to these terms

Termination by You

• • You may cancel your subscription at any time
• • Account deletion can be requested through your account settings
• • Service continues until the end of your current billing period

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account for:

• • Violation of these Terms of Service
• • Non-payment of fees
• • Illegal or harmful activities
• • Extended periods of inactivity

Effects of Termination

• • Immediate loss of access to the service
• • Data deletion within 30 days (export your data first)
• • No refund for unused subscription periods

Applicable Law
